The goals have flowed during the group stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ – and now comes your turn to choose your favourite so far.
With the net having bulged a record 215 times in the 72 matches to date, there is no shortage of brilliant strikes for FIFA.com users to choose from, though to make the task easier we have whittled the selection down to 12. The shortlist includes superb goals from some of the usual suspects – step forward Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe – alongside contributions from players new to the world stage like Cabo Verde’s Kevin Pina and Wilson Isidor of Haiti.
This is the first step in the process towards deciding the Hyundai Goal of the Tournament, as the first voting window of the tournament gives users 48 hours to place their vote. After the window voting closes, the winning goal will be announced.
There will be four subsequent votes, following the same process after the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals (combined), and then a final vote at the end of the tournament.
