Do I need a crypto wallet?
No. When you sign in with email, an embedded wallet is created for you automatically via Privy — no seed phrase and no separate app — and it works across BSC and Base. If you prefer, you can connect your own external wallet (such as MetaMask) at sign-in instead.
Do I need to pay gas, or hold BNB / ETH?
If you signed up with email (embedded wallet), OMINARI sponsors your gas fees on trades and withdrawals, so you don't need to hold BNB or ETH. If you use an external wallet, you pay your own gas — BNB on BSC, or ETH on Base — in addition to your USDT/USDC.
Why don't I see my balance or positions?
Your portfolio shows one active wallet on the selected chain. If you funded a different chain or traded from a different wallet, switch the network selector to match and make sure the connected wallet is the right one. Balances and positions are read live from the blockchain.
Is OMINARI custodial? Are my funds safe?
OMINARI is non-custodial — your funds sit in on-chain smart contracts and you control your wallet at all times; trades settle directly on-chain. Never share your wallet's seed phrase or private key with anyone, including OMINARI support — we will never ask for it.
